We warmly invite you to join us for another Women's Day of Encouragement at St Mellitus College!   We are delighted that our speaker this year is Christine Perkin who be speaking to us about "Where is God when things go wrong" drawing from Mark 5 when Jesus encounters Jairus and the woman who was bleeding.  It may be a difficult topic for some of us but it is so important given that it’s a question that we all face at some point or another in our lives. If we can take this time to engage with God, we have the opportunity to bring such hope and fresh conviction that God is always for us and He is with us even through the darkest valleys. We will have some time for discussion during each talk with those around us as well.

The day will also include time for worship, prayer and a sandwich lunch with fruit and Lulu's delicious brownies!   We do hope you will join us. If you know someone who you feel would benefit from joining us for the day, please invite them.  We want to provide a relaxed, loving and safe space to meet old friends and make new ones.  We will serve coffee from 10.00 am with the main programme running from 10.30am until 3.30pm.  Please remember to let us know in advance if you have any special dietary requirements as I am afraid we won’t be able to accommodate additional requests on the day.

The price simply covers our expenses: in addition to the venue hire, we pay the speaker, the worship leader and the PA/AV provision by St Mellitus. The charge also includes an amount to help pay the Stewards' Trust administration costs such as for the wonderful youth team who come and help as well as insurance and licensing costs. That said, although our budget is tight, we don’t want anyone to feel unable to come due to cost.  Clergy and spouses are automatically entitled to a bursary.

Love from the host team - Anna Colahan, Juliet Fellows, Amanda Gerry, Selina Watts, Lulu Wells and Emma Winther
